GRAND BAHAMA, The Bahamas — The Department of Social Services Senior Citizens and Disability Affairs Division hosted a 'Bridging Hearts' initiative in collaboration with students from Sunland Baptist Academy, Junior Local Government Councilors and teachers on Friday, February 14, 2025. The aim of the initiative was to spread love and joy to seniors in celebration of Valentine's Day. The group visited several senior citizen homes in Grand Bahama, including Raybertha Senior Citizens Home, Burrows Home for the Aged, Home Away from Home and Grand Bahama Home for the Aged. They presented the seniors with treats and personalized handmade cards.
