Farmers and other agriculturalists are able to access assistance with marketing their produce locally in The Bahamas and internationally. In addition to getting produce to major entities, the Bahamas Agricultural and Industrial Corporation (BAIC) also assists by placing farmers’ produce on its website in the Produce Availability section.

Eligibility

Interested persons must be Bahamian nationals or have permanent residency status here in The Bahamas and must have crops currently grown locally in The Bahamas.

Process

1. Visit the offices of the Bahamas Agricultural and Industrial Corporation (BAIC).
2. Speak to someone in the Agriculture Department for guidance on getting produce marketed to all major entities, and also view the BAIC’s website in the "Produce Availability" section.
3. Fill out and submit the Produce Marketing Information form.
