Farmers and other persons interested in farming activities can get assistance in setting up and running their business from the Bahamas Agricultural and Industrial Corporation (BAIC).

This assistance usually includes, but is not limited to:

• Project preparation (crop and livestock projects).
• Cost of production, as well as sales.
• Agricultural business plans and financial feasibility.
• Greenhouse technology.

Eligibility

Interested persons must be Bahamian nationals or have permanent resident status here in The Bahamas.

Process

1. Contact the BAIC’s Agricultural department to set up an appointment to visit.
2. Visit the BAIC at the appointed time.
3. Discuss your proposed initiatives.
