FREEPORT, Grand Bahama, The Bahamas -- In observance of Public Service Week 2024, the Ministry of Labour and Public Service, GB, hosted Free Health Screenings for public servants Tuesday, November 5. Held in the COLLAB Unit located at the Ministry for Grand Bahama’s offices in the Harold DeGregory Complex, the screening featured checks for high blood pressure and blood sugar, among other things.

Those stopping in for a check up included Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Hon. Philip Davis. Prime Minister Davis also took the time to meet and speak with the team assisting with the health screenings and other public servants in attendance at the time. He was accompanied by Minister for Grand Bahama, the Hon. Ginger Moxey and Parliamentary Secretary within the Ministry for Grand Bahama, Kingsley Smith.

Public Servants were treated to smoothies from Livity Vegetarian Take-Out & Juice Bar following their check ups.
