NASSAU, The Bahamas -- With an objective to reduce plastic waste through the manufacture of eco-friendly plastic products that promote a greener environment, Eden Recycling and Manufacturing held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new facilities off Gladstone Road on Faith Avenue, October 24, 2024. Commending the initiative was Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation, the Hon. Chester Cooper who highlighted, among other anticipated outcomes, the sustainable tourism benefits. Chairman and CEO of Eden, Andrew McFall envisioned an expanding project that would introduce innovative recycling and manufacturing solutions, and as such contribute to reduction of imports into the country. Inattendance were Leader of the Opposition the Hon. Michael Pintard and Minister of the Environment and Natural Resources, the Hon. Vaughn Miller.
