NASSAU, The Bahamas -- Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture staff members, Government and Junkanoo stakeholders, including sponsor representatives Managing Director of Scotiabank Bahamas Roger Archer and Retail Sales Executive at Sol Petroleum Bahamas, Ltd., Earla Rahming, were on hand as the 30 schools taking part in the 2025 Junior Junkanoo Parade chose their order of entry, at a ceremony, held at the Ministryon January 27, 2025.  The Parade is slated to be on Bay Street, on Thursday, January 30, 2025, starting at 6pm.    (BIS Photos/Eric Rose)

As a reminder, when the last student of a participating school passes the landmark of John Bull on Bay Street, the next school must begin. 

Pre, Primary, Community and Junior High Schools will parade for 1 Lap from Frederick Street to East Street and exit the parade North of East Street. Parents may collect their children between East Street and Virginia Street on East Bay Street proper.

Senior High and the Senior Students of the All Aged Schools must exit North onto East Street to the Woodes Rodgers Wharf back to the entry spot to begin the 2nd lap.
