The Bahamas opens an embassy in the UAE

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates -- The Commonwealth of The Bahamas opened an embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), February 12, 2025 which will also serve as a center for relations with Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The embassy opening marks the culmination of a long process of establishing formal diplomatic relations between these countries. The embassy aims to provide services to Bahamians in the region and foster stronger ties between The Bahamas and the Gulf region.
