NASSAU, The Bahamas -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation the Hon. Chester Cooper and Guyana’s Minister of Public Works the Hon. Bishop Juan A. Edghill signed an Air Service Agreement between The Bahamas and Guyana at the Tourism Ministry on Monday, November 25, 2024.

The Agreement strengthens The Bahamas’ aviation ties with Guyana and will allow both countries to have more connectivity with one another. Talks and negotiations must continue between the two countries as to the nature of the ties, but a potential consequence can be direct flights between both countries.

Minister Edghill also presented DPM Cooper with several gifts right before the signing.
