REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
The Government of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, through the Ministry of Tourism and Aviation (MOTA), herein collectively referred to as, “Ministry”, hereby invites proposals from qualified firms for:
TENDER NO. MOTA-2019-01-062
The purchase or franchise arrangement for Nassau Flight Services, a wholly owned entity of the Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Nassau Flight Services presently provides Ground Handling, Passenger Services, and other Ancillary Services at Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) and other airports in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.
Firms interested in providing superior customer service for all commercial air carriers, private and charters operating at LPIA and certain Government owned Family Island Airports are invited to submit a bid for the purchase or franchise operations.
The Successful Proposer shall support multiple airlines and their specific safety, security, and operational requirements each day, in addition to any ad hoc operation requirements.
Interested companies are required to be registered on the Bahamas Government procurement portal at Bahamas.gov.bs/ (Government Tenders) to access the Request for Proposal document. Alternatively, the request for RFP Documents, in the English language, may be requested via email by interested firms to the point of contact: boutten@bahamas.com , copied to lsmith@bahamas.com. Upon receipt of request, the RFP documents will be forwarded via electronic mail. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.
Deadline to submit the RFP: On or before 3:00 pm on June 29, 2019
The Ministry will not consider more than one Purchase or Franchise proposal from any potential Proposer for Nassau Flight Services and will reject one or all proposals if there is apparent collusion among Proposers.
The Ministry reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals submitted for the purchase or franchise operations of Nassau Flight Services.
