Nominations And Election Of Officers Of The Water And Sewerage Management Union

In accordance with Section 21 (1), (2) of the Industrial Relations Act, Chapter 321 of the Statue Law of The Commonwealth of the Bahamas, The Registrar of Trade Unions hereby directs that under his supervision, a secret ballot shall be taken for the Election of Officers of the Water and Sewerage Management Union.

The Nominations of Members wanting to contest the positions of its Executive Committee will be held on November 14^th, 2019 between the hours of 10:00am to 3:00pm. The foregoing nominations will be supervised by the Registrar of Trade Unions or a Designated Officer.

The Election of Officers will be held on November 22^nd, 2019 between the hours of 9:00am to 3:00pm. The foregoing election will also be supervised by the Registrar of Trade Unions or a Designated Officer.

The before-mentioned Nomination of Members and the Election of Officers will be held at the following locations:

• In New Providence, Nominations will take place at the Department of Labour office on Rosetta Street; and the Election of Officers will be held at the Water and Sewerage Grounds on UB Boulevard.
• In Abaco, voting will take place at the Marsh Harbour Department of Labour office.
• In North Andros, at the Department of Labour office.
• In Fresh Creek, at the Department of Labour office.
• In North Eleuthera, voting will take place at the Department of Labour office.
• In Governors Harbour, at the Department of Labour office.
• In Exuma, at the Department of Labour, Farmers Hill office
• And in Long Island, voting will take place at the Administrator’s Office.
