Official Funeral for the Late Vernon Symonette

The Cabinet Office announces today that an Official Funeral Service will be held for the late Vernon J. Symonette, CMG, former Cabinet Minister, Speaker of the House of Assembly and Parliamentarian on Friday, 29th July, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Baptist Church, Shirley Street. Interment will be held on Saturday, 6th August, 2022 in Great Inagua.

The body will lie-in-state in the foyer of the House of Assembly at 9:00am on Thursday, 28th July, 2022.

Viewing for the general public will be 1:00p.m to 5:00p.m on Thursday, 28th July, 2022.

The service will be broadcast live via the ZNS radio network from Zion Baptist Church beginning at 11:00am.
