Road Work scheduled for Nassau Street

The Ministry of Public Works/Bahamix, has scheduled milling and paving works for Nassau Street.

The Road Work is scheduled to be carried out beginning Wednesday, December 11^th, 2019, through Friday, December 13^th, 2019, from 9:00am to 2:30pm.

The works will incorporate the section of the roadway between Poinciana Drive and Boyd Road, which will be carried out in two phases. There will be Half Road closures implemented for the two phases for the duration of the Works.

In the first phase, All South bound traffic will remain on Nassau Street, while all North Bound traffic will be diverted onto Pitt Road then onto Boyd road which will allow the motorist to reconnect to Nassau Street.

In the Second Phase, both the North and South Bound traffic will remain on Nassau Street.
