Department of Labour

Persons may access information on the local Labour Market or The Bahamas’ involvement with the International Labour Organisation, of which the Bahamas has been a member since 1976, at any time. Some of the ILO information that is stored include general information and ratified conventions. The Department of Labour also collects information on Labour Market statistics, actual and forecasted supply and demand of jobs, and characteristics of occupations, by contacting the Statistics Unit’s office at the below address, or any of the department’s other offices.
