Flat (Fly) Fishing Licence, Applying for a

Persons wishing to acquire a Flat (Fly) Fishing licence.

Eligibility

Angler - must complete the application form

Guide - (a) must complete application form, (b) be in Possession of a certificate indicating completion of certification course issued by the Ministry of Tourism

Process

  1. Apply online at GoOutdoorsBahamas.com (complete checkout process including paying with credit card and downloading official documents) or download the paper application, fill out by hand, and bring cash. Paper applications are also available at any Administrator’s Office or at the Department of Marine Resources.
  2. Bring completed documents to your local Administrator’s Office or the Department of Marine Resources.
  3. For Guides, produce certificate issued by the Ministry of Tourism.

Weekly license:$20.00 plus 12% VAT
Monthly license:$30.00 plus 12% VAT
Annual license:$60.00 plus 12% VAT
    
Personal Angler licenses (citizens/permanent residents): 
 
Day license (valid for day of issuance only):$5.00 plus 12% VAT
Weekly license:$10.00 plus 12% VAT
Monthly license:$20.00 plus 12% VAT
Annual license:$40.00 plus 12% VAT

FLATS FISHING GUIDE LICENCES: 
 
Provisional Licence (Valid for one-year period only):$100.00 plus 12% VAT
Annual licence:$100.00 plus 12% VAT
