Eligibility

For renewal, the applicant must be licensed under the Inquiry Agents and Security Guards Act – Chapter 210

Process 

1. Prior to the expiration of the licence, the following must be submitted to the Ministry of National Security.
   • Licence Book
   • Current original Police Certificate
   • Fee for annual or Temporary licence
2. A temporary licence may be issued to a person for a period stated in the licence, but not more than three months, while awaiting the decision to grant an annual licence.
3. The applicant must receive a favourable vetting by the Police before the renewal is granted.
4. The applicant will be contacted to collect the licence within ten business days.

Application for renewal should be submitted prior to the expiration of the licence.

Related Fee(s)

Temporary Licence Fee : BS$10 (every three months)
Annual Licence Fee : BS$10

Note:

• All payment by cheque must be certified and made payable to the Public Treasury or The Ministry of National Security.
• Other forms of acceptable payment are cash or money order.
• Cash payment should be made to the Public Treasury, and receipt submitted to the Ministry of National Security.
• Fees or receipts are to accompany application form with relevant documents.
