Current and prospective boat captains in The Bahamas.

Process

  2. Complete and submit the application form with the supporting documents listed in the Supporting Documents section of this page.
  3. Follow email instructions on how to pay online using DigiPay platform.

  1. Applicant’s Valid Identification
  2. Valid Medical Certificate
  3. Valid Standards of Training Certification and Watch Keeping (STCW)
  4. Valid Police Record

Renewal:

  1. Applicant’s Valid Identification
  2. Copy of Previous Licence

Turn-around time 

For new applications: Up to 1 month •For renewal applications: 3-7 business days

Licence expires annually on December 31
