*This service requires consultation from the Department of Environmental Health Services, Water and Sewerage Corporation and the Royal Bahamas Police Force.

Eligibility

An approved Burn Plan is required.

Process

  1. Collect application form from the Forestry Unit or download form from application section
  2. Complete application form
  3. Consult Forestry Unit to assist in the preparation of the prescribed burn plan and get burn plan approved
  4. Pay application and permit fees to Accounts Department in the Ministry of the Environment and Housing
  5. Collect permit from Forestry Unit
