Shark Permit

This permit allows the holder to fish for, possess, or export any shark or shark parts for educational, scientific or research purposes.

There are no eligibility criteria for this service.

Process

  1. Complete the relevant application form.
  2. Submit the completed form, along with the supporting documents, to the Department of Marine Resources.
  3. Upon approval of application, the applicant will be required to pay the relevant fee.
