Biography
The Hon. Ginger Moxey is passionate about providing opportunities to empower Bahamians by creating synergistic relationships throughout The Bahamas and the world with a focus on cultural, business, tourism, educational, youth and humanitarian exchanges.
Minister Moxey was born on June 30th, 1974 and was raised in Eight Mile Rock, Grand Bahama where she was the president and CEO of Immerse Bahamas, a premier destination and project management company. She is also the founder of the Entrepreneurship Empowerment Initiative, which promotes business opportunities in the orange economy and 700 Partners, a non-profit organization connecting organizations and people to help those in need.
Before launching her company and philanthropic initiative, Minister Moxey served as Vice-President of the Grand Bahama Port Authority Limited and Port Group Limited.
She is a mother and has received numerous awards and accolades, including the ’40-under-40 Trailblazers’ Award. She also served as President of The Bahamas Chapter of People-to-People International.
Minister Moxey was elected Member of Parliament for the Pineridge constituency on September 16, 2021 and sworn in as Minister for Grand Bahama on September 22, 2021.

- Revitalization & Promotion of Grand Bahama as Tourism and Industrial Centre
- Promotion of Agricultural Development in Grand Bahama
- Advancement of Health and Educational Infrastructure
- Promotion of Employment and Entrepreneurial opportunities in Grand Bahama
- Development of the Freeport International Airport
- Community Relocation and Rehabilitation in East and West Grand Bahama
