'Bahamian Day' a Hit at the E. Clement Bethel National Arts Festival New Providence Adjudications
NASSAU, The Bahamas -- An estimated 1,000-plus students, parents and well-wishers were on hand for the recent Bahamian Day at the E. Clement Bethel National Arts Festival New Providence Adjudications, held at All Saints Anglican Church. More than a dozen private and public schools took part in the event, on March 6, 2025, along with a number of adult community entrants. There were performances that garnered high distinction and honours grades. Among the memorable highlights was Bahamian popular music icon David "Funky D" Ferguson watching his grandson, First Step Academy student Kendon Thompson, perform his hit song 'Crazy Boyo'.
